I was curious about how my aesthetic and material interests would translate to wood and soda firing during this time. The clay that I use for my Korean celadon works is imported from Korea to Vancouver, BC. I was both concerned about the sustainability of my practice and curious about the materials my peers were using.

I kept making pots to satisfy my need to make objects and stay connected with my training, while doing historical research for different conceptual avenues.
